I’m offering a free 15 minute taster and full support to get you online and ready for your first session – in the comfort of your own home! And when we are through coronavirus, come on over for an in-person lesson in my home studio.
What is your singing goal?
Maybe you’re in a band and wanting to perfect harmonies and take lead vocals sometimes?
Or perhaps you’d like to sing at open mic nights?
Are you writing your own material and you wish you could sing it better?
Stockport Singing Teacher Mags Lowe can help you find your voice, develop it and build your confidence.
Whatever your singing experience (ZERO is absolutely fine) and level of natural ability (ZERO is also fine on this point!) rest assured that singing teacher, Mags can help you to develop your singing voice. At first we will need to separate-out your singing from your playing, especially if you’re new to vocalising – so we will put down your guitar and focus on your vocals. As your vocal skill and confidence improve, you’ll be able to hold your own as a vocalist whilst playing your guitar.
She won’t tell you to give it up because you’re no good. EVERYONE can learn to sing and play guitar at the same time; it just takes longer for some people than others and it’s also down to how much you practice of course. Singing Lessons for guitarists are tailored to guitarists of all abilities so get in touch to discuss how Mags can support you.
During your singing lessons she will coach you in the vocal techniques, posture, breathing and learning strategies…. then it’s down to you. Learning to sing as you play is absolutely worth every scrap of effort; it’s a complete joy, something in which you can lose yourself, stop time and melt into the music because you are the music. It’s a skill and pleasure for the rest of your life and brings lots of opportunities to socialise and perform. You’ve nothing to lose!
