Singing for guitar players is an extra challenge – the multi-tasking involved can feel overwhelming.  That’s why we put down the guitar and focus on your singing.

Whatever your singing experience (ZERO is absolutely fine) and level of natural ability (ZERO is also fine on this point!) rest assured that singing teacher, Mags can help you to develop your singing voice.  At first we will need to separate-out your singing from your playing, especially if you’re new to vocalising – so we will put down your guitar and focus on your vocals.  As your vocal skill and confidence improve, you’ll be able to hold your own as a vocalist whilst playing your guitar.

She won’t tell you to give it up because you’re no good. EVERYONE can learn to sing and play guitar at the same time; it just takes longer for some people than others and it’s also down to how much you practice of course.
