My Marple studio is just over the border from Derbyshire’s High Peak, so it’s within easy reach of New Mills, Glossop, Hayfield, Charlesworth and Chinley. New Mills Central and Chinley both have direct trains to Marple.

For singers further into the Peak District, such as Buxton and Chapel-en-le-Frith, online lessons are a brilliant alternative to the drive – I’ve taught online since 2020 and it works remarkably well.

I teach adults in contemporary styles, from complete beginners to experienced singers, in a relaxed and supportive way.

Getting to the studio from High Peak

My home studio is in Marple. Prefer to stay at home? Online lessons are the same price.

Route

Glossop, New Mills and Hayfield are 15 to 25 minutes away; Buxton is around 40

Public transport

New Mills Central and Chinley have direct trains to Marple on the line between Sheffield and Manchester.

Mags has transformed my voice from what could best be described as a window-shattering strangled cat to something very passable! We’ve tackled some fab power ballads and I can now sing my heart out in the car without my passengers demanding ear plugs.
